The Adirondack Tool Co.:
This project started after a long fireside chat with friends. We always loved hiking and the outdoors, but none of us knew how we could make it productive toward our long-term goals. A close friend had some experience with dropshipping, so we decided to create an online store to support our adventures. In a few short months, The Adirondack Tool Company was born.I built the website, helped create sales-focused product descriptions, customized a CRM system to encourage repeat customers, created social media profiles (Facebook, Instagram), filmed / produced advertising videos, ran a Meta Ads campaign, and continue to monitor and post on its social media pages.
UAlbany Baseball Alumni Association
For years, the SUNY at Albany Varsity Baseball Team has struggled from being under-staffed, under-funded, and overlooked. As an alumni, former Team Captain, and proud Great Dane, I couldn't sit idly by and reflect on my team's situation without something bothering me. So, I reached out to the coaches and athletic department to see if I could create a platform to boost the program and drive more donations. After some discussions, the UAlbany Baseball Alumni Association was born.I created the association's website and logo, built a custom gear store for it, posted an email-subscriber system for new members, and organized a fundraising event that led to donations >$1,500. The website also includes a blog and gallery for loyal fans to stay up to date with the program.
J&J's Firewood
After a long day at the desk and behind the screens, my body needs a good workout. Before the creation of J&J's Firewood, I would often chop wood in my parents' backyard for some exercise. As my pile grew, and my work with Summit Senior Living proved fruitful, I realized that I could turn my wood pile into a money pile. That's how J&J's Firewood was born.I built a website, created search engine and social media profiles, ran some basic Google Ads, and never stopped chopping. Now, those sales funnels generate at least one call per day, and have been able to draw over 80 calls per week during the winter.
Summit Senior Living
When I began my studies of copywriting and e-commerce, my teachers told me that I should offer my new skills to local businesses in order to develop a client portfolio. After hundreds of cold calls and follow-ups, the owners of Summit Senior Living decided to give me a chance.I rebuilt their website from scratch, produced new social media and search profiles, developed methods for the owners to make easy, interactive content, and created Google Ads to drive more leads. It worked for them and inspired me to continue practicing my digital media skills.
